The twins are here!!!

Let me tell you, it was a long hot summer (and I only had to go until July 13th). After enduring swollen feet, hip and back pain, sleepless nights and an additional 54 lbs of weight we were all relieved when the twins arrived at 38 weeks. Delaney Kate and Joseph William arrived July 13, 2007. Delaney made her enterance first at 1 pm, followed by her brother at 1:23 pm. Delaney weighed in at 5 lbs 10 oz and was 18 inches long with beautiful black hair, while Joe was a chubby 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long with a head full of peach fuzz. All was well and we were happy to be able to take home two very healthy babies. Sister Maggie is adjusting to her sister and brother really well. She constantly asks to hold them and kisses them any chance she can get. We're hoping that this positive reception continues.

We're new to the blog thing, so we'll be posting old photos first and then new photos so family and friends can catch up on the last 2 months. We hope you enjoy!
