Just a quick post for the week! With the fires basically out of our lives for the time being and the air quality going back to normal we were finally able to go back to the park mid-week.
The kids enjoyed gathering pine cones and running off some energy outside the confines of the house.
We also made chocolate chip cookies while house-bound. They were a big hit with the twins. Delaney has also started to do this "surprised" face (see first photo) for EVERYTHING. It's pretty funny.
Weekly milestones: The twins now both say "please" and "thank you"--but it sounds more like "peas" and "dank doo" (I'll take what I get). Maggie is using the word "Actually" a lot, as in, "Actually, I just don't have to take a nap because I actually need to check my email" (who knows!).

ok before I even read your narrative I started dying laughing at Delaney b/c she looked just like Hailey! We call it "the face" and we'll say Hailey do the face and she does that "OO" face and walks around till everyone looks at her do it...its so hilarious...Ok now you have to come Delaney and Hailey can do their faces at each other!
Ok one other thing - I just showed Hailey Delaney's picture and she immediately did the face...to funny!
I loved Delaney's surprised face. The kids are super adorable & it was a blast yo have you guys here this week. I wish I could have spent more time with you all, but am definitely thankful for the little bit I did get. Hope to see you all again soon.
Guess what were watching...Polar Express! I know its starting early this year!!!
